Our Search for a Pikler Triangle

We were searching for a pikler triangle for my 3 year old to practice climbing. Learning to climb actually plays an important role in the development of children’s balance and motor skills. We scoured all over the internet to find one that fits our needs. We wanted one that is foldable, large enough for the my kids to play for years to come, made from safe materials, and free from any toxic paint. Wiwiurka checked all the boxes and had lots of positive customer reviews. We were certain that this purchase was the right one for us and we even got a reversible slide/rock climbing ramp to accompany the pikler triangle.

We recently added the XXL Rocker Balance board to our playroom and the triangle, ramp, and rocker together have elevated our indoor play.

Easy Assembly and Great Customer Service

The processing time is around 2 weeks, and everything came tightly packaged. The instructions were easy to follow, and assembly was quick. You will need a manual or electric screwdriver (Phillips head), and an Allen key. Having someone around will also make assembly easier.

When we assembled the pikler triangle, one of the rods was loose. We contacted customer support and they sent us a replacement rod in no time. Wiwiurka prides themselves in producing quality wooden toys and they stand by their products.

How We Play

The beauty of these open-ended toys is that there is no structure, rules or guides of how to play. Besides the obvious climbing, sliding, and rocking, we love hooking the ramp onto the pikler triangle to slide things down. We added magnetic tiles and use some balls/coins to create a ball run and plinko. You can also add some play roads and cars to race down the ramp. We even made a train out of the rocker.
